LIM MUI
Most recently, lim performed in La MaMa's production of Medea as Chorus/Creusa, directed by Zishan Urgulu. This marked their first production as a member of the Great Jones Repertory Company. In November they performed in the Healing Shipment, a sci-fi puppet musical, directed by Maria Camia, also at La Mama. In March 2023 , they performed internationally for the first time in the collaborative piece, Undying in Yidderland, at Mousonturm Künstlerhaus in Frankfurt, Germany, directed by Anna Lublina.
In 2022 they presented From Darkness Gilt, an original play, as part of the Object Movement Festival at Center at West Park. They were a playwright in AMiOS' First Draughts cohort, developing a 2 person Queer thriller called 19th Street, as well as releasing their first short film, how was if for you?, the same year.
They perform and produce theatre in New York City. Past spaces include Jalopy Theatre, La MaMa, Ars Nova, AMiOS, Center at West Park, Puppets Come Home, Eugene O'Neil Puppet Center, St Ann's Puppet Lab, The Tank, Dixon Place, and Vital Joint.
lim is grateful for their continuous study of acting with Billy Lyons (Wynn Handman Studio) and clown with Chris Bayes. they are a graduate of acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, which included a semester at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

as a director and writer, it is their intention to generate space for voices and landscapes essential to re-defining the known, the norm. their wish is to enliven a reality rooted in a charged heart, clown, and great mystery.
